Ludwigia 'Atlantis,' also known as Ludwigia Dark Orange, gets its name from the vibrant colouration of its underwater leaves in the aquarium. Depending on the lighting conditions, this Ludwigia cultivar can grow in an array of colours, ranging from a yellow-green to a rich, orange-red under high light.

Ludwigia 'Atlantis' has oval shaped leaves which are characterised by prominent veining of a lighter yellow colour. Providing strong lighting and ample CO2 will ensure good colouration and robust growth.

Ludwigia Dark Orange is considered an easy to care for plant. It is likely a Ludwigia palustris x Ludwigia repens hybrid and shares the same care requirements. It can be grown without high lighting or CO2 levels, but tends to grow with green leaves in these conditions.
